Returned to the team last year and wound up as one of the top tacklers on the squad...will be one of the key players on the team....will start at what the Cowboys call the Buck Safety....he’ll play strong safety and at times when the Cowboys shift, he’ll be in a linebacker alignment...coming off a good spring...had six tackles in the spring game and had a pass interception...does all the things a good defensive back needs to do...he took over a starting assignment in the fifth game of the season and started the rest of the way

2007: played in all 12 games and started the final eight...very consistent player as he had five tackles in eight of 12 games... ranked eighth in tackles with 55...had two tackles for a loss, one pass interception, recovered a team high three fumbles and forced one...pass interception came in win over Texas State

2004: played as a true freshman and had 34 tackles and a pass broken up...returned a fumble 65 yards for a touchdown against Stephen F. Austin

High School: only played two years and was named all-state, all-district (defensive MVP) and selected for LHSAA all-star game...106 tackles, nine sacks, 11 TFL, seven pass interceptions and seven tds during career...also basketball letterman
