Moved into starting role at offensive tackle last year and earned all-conference honors...more honors are expected to come his way this season and he has a chance to play at a higher level...started at tight end as a sophomore.........has good speed, quickness and strength....not too many will get past him.....will also deep snap on punts...is a pre-season first team all-conference pick..injured during the spring and missed workouts....will be at full speed in the fall...named to pre-season all-conference first team

2007: second team all-conference in first season as offensive tackle...started all 12 games at left tackle...credited with 20 pancake blocks and 34 knockdown blocks....

2006: fourth on the team in receiving with seven catches for 57 yards and a td...two catches for 14 yards vs SFA...scored td against Northwestern State

2005: came back from injury and caught one pass for seven yards, playing as the Cowboy third tight end

High School:  all-state, all-district, all-SW Louisiana...eight catches for 90 yards and two tds as a senior and 19 catches for 240 yards and seven tds as a junior...also carried the football 11 times for 77 yards...center in basketball and discus thrower in track (all-district)...named to all-state academic team with 3.3 GPA
