2011:  named the team’s MVP... led the Cowboys with 90 tackles and three interceptions... also tops on the team with nine passes broken up and three forced fumbles... 72 of his 90 stops were solo tackles... had five tackles for a loss and a fumble recovery... returned a pass interception for 44 yards and a touchdown against Lamar in the season finale... will enter the 2012 season with 238 career tackles, ranked 20th on the shool’s all-time career tackles list... five games with 10 or more tackles... had 12 stops against Nicholls and 13 hits against Stephen F. Austin to go along with a pass interception, forced fumble and a fumble recovery... had 13 tackles against Texas State, 10 at Northwestern State and 11 at Kansas.

2010: first team all-SLC and second team all-Louisiana...credited with 58 tackles, five pass interceptions, six passes broken up and a fumble recovery....game high of eight tackles against LSU and seven each against Lamar, SFA and Cal Poly...ranked second in the SLC in pass interceptions for league games only with four...return pass interception for 74 yards and a td against Texas State (seventh longest in school history)...also intercepted passes against Sam Houston, SFA, Lamar and Northwestern State...named McNeese’s defensive player of the year.

2009: led team in tackles with 89..also had four tackles for a loss, two pass interceptions and team  high seven pass break ups....twice in double figures in tackles with 11 against C. Arkansas and 10 against Appalachian State....started all 12 games...pass interceptions vs SE Louisiana and Texas State (steal in this game secured McNeese victory)....SLC player of week vs Texas State...twice named team player of the week. 

High School: football, baseball and basketball standout at Jasper...played on two championship teams in baseball (outfielder) and one in football (wide receiver and safety)...all-state in both...all-district in basketball...caught passes for 1,100 yards, rushed for 700 yards and intercepted 10 passses...had four interceptions and ran two back for a td in one game.

Other: birthdate 5/11/90...general studies...parents are Michael and Aretha Bronson...he’s the nephew of McNeese Hall of Fame and former pro player Zack Bronson...younger brother Ryan is also on this year’s Cowboy team...father played football at Lamar.
