• Earned second team All-SLC honors as a punt returner after averaging 8.9 yards per return... Stellar in the kick return department with a 24.9 average and tied a school, conference and NCAA record with a 100-yard return for a touchdown against Southern... At wide receiver, he ranked second on the team and tied for 18th in the league with 30 catches while reeling in 362 receiving yards (second on team, 17th in SLC)... Pulled in a season-high six passes for 79 yards and two TDs against Southeastern... 2-time SLC Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 20 (2 KO returns for 111 yards and a 100-yard TD vs. Southern) and Oct. 18 (122 total return yards - 61 KOR and 61 PR, at Northwestern State).
2021 Spring (Redshirt Freshman):
• Fourth in the Southland Conference in kickoff returns with a 20.9 average... Caught 8 passes for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns... Best game came against Nicholls where he caught 5 passes for 107 yards and 2 TDs, all career-highs... Had an 85-yard catch and run for a score against the Colonels in helping lead McNeese to a 43-31 win over the 11th-ranked team... Against Lamar, scored on an 80-yard end-around play.
2019 (Freshman):
• Appeared in two games... Redshirt season.
High School:
• District 23-6A All-Purpose Player of the Year... 1st team all-district at wide receiver and all-purpose... 54 catches for 765 yards and 8 touchdowns as a senior... In career, caught 133 passes for 1,872 yards and 24 TDs.
Personal:
• Born March 11, 2001... Son of Aaron and Erica Pierce... Two siblings - Cameron and Malaya... A second generation Cowboys, his father, Aaron, was a running back for the Cowboys from 1998-01 and was part of the 2001 SLC Championship team and led the Cowboys in rushing in 2000 with 830 yards.
