40   Matt Polansky   Place Kicker, Senior, 2L, 5-10, 190, Lake Charles, LA (Barbe HS)

Will be the backup place kicker for the team this season...did both place kicks and kick offs last year....kicked a pair of PATs in spring game

2009: booted two PATS and also did some kickoffs....made both PATs against Savannah State....averaged 59.4 yards on eight kickoffs

2008: attempted one PAT and made it (vs Southern Virginia) 

High School: all-district place kicker for Barbe High where he still holds most of the place kicking records...had a long of 47 yards...also did the punting and had a long of 63 yards...also earned all-district honors on the soccer team

Other: birthdate 10/11/87....General Studies....parents are John and Judy Polansky...mother attended McNeese and earned master degree in English
