2012 Preseason All-SLC Second Team


Was granted another year of eligibility by the NCAA after his 2011 season was cut short not long after it began.

2011:  missed the entire season after suffering an injury in fall practice prior to the season opener at Kansas.

2010: first team All-Southland Conference and All-Louisiana honors... team leader in pancake blocks with 27 and tied for the lead in knockdown blocks with 25....had season high seven pancake blocks against Missouri and had four knockdown blocks against both Sam Houston State and Texas State...started all 11 games.

2009: started all 12 games and earned second team all-SLC honors...team leader with 21 pancake blocks and 20 knockdowns....had six pancakes against Sam Houston State...five knockdowns against SFA...played some at center against SFA.

2008: played in every game and had 20 pancake blocks and seven knockdowns..allowed only one sack...had six pancakes and five knockdowns in win over Sam Houston.

High School: all-district as center and defensive lineman..named among top 20 offensive linemen in state...picked for Red Stick Bowl...averaged six pancake blocks per game..graded out over 95 percent in his blocking for season..tossed shot put and discus in track and was parish champ.

Other: birthdate 4/14/89...uncle Donnie played football at UL-Lafayette.
