Biography

2014: Starter in all 11 games... allowed just 1 1/2 sacks the entire season... offense ranked third in the conference in rushing with 221.9 yards per game.

2013: All-SLC honorable mention honors... moved to the offensive line during the offseason and made an immediate splash... starter in all 13 games… played a majority of the snaps on the season and only allowed four sacks… big part of the Cowboys’ offense scoring a school record in points on the season as well as protecting quarterback Cody Stroud in putting up some of the best passing numbers in school history including a record for touchdown passes in a season.

2012:  played in 10 games and made five tackles including one for a loss... had a pass breakup and a QB hurry.

2011:  redshirted.

High School:  three letters as defensive tackle and tight at Broken Arrow (OK) High School....all-district honors...missed first five games as senior recovering from knee injury...finished with 42 tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery, three tackles for a loss and a pass broken up in senior year...as a junior he caught 12 passes for 130 yards and three tds as a tight end.

Other:  born 9/19/92... parents are Chuck and Jennifer Gorman and Laura and Derrick Evans....father Chuck played at Tulane and was an assistant coach at McNeese and also a high school head coach...mother Laura ran track at Tulane... uncle, Todd Gorman, played basketball at Delta State while his stepfather, Derrick, played baseball at Connors State... health education major... SLC Commissioner’s Fall Academic Honor Roll.
