2012:  saw action in two games and was the backup to first team all-conference selection Arinze Agada.

2011:  Redshirted.

High School:  a first team all-state, all-district and all-Acadiana pick at Acadiana High School...also first team all-district and all-Acadiana as a junior...helped lead team to Class 5A state title in 2010...three letters as an offensive tackle.

Other:  born 12/18/92... son of Gary Smith and Donna Plaisance... majoring in criminal justice and carries a 3.47 GPA... named to the 2012 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Fall Academic Honor Roll.
