Career: Ranks 12th on the school’s all-time yards rushing list with 2,091 yards on 385 carries... his 21 career rushing TDs is 13th all-time.

2017: Missed the season to rehab an injured ankle that he broke during the 2017 spring game.

2016: Led the team in rushing for the second straight season... ran for 601 yards on 135 carries and rushed for five TDs... averaged 4.5 yards per carry... ranked fifth on the team with 26 catches (149 yards)... best game came against Louisiana-Lafayette where he rushed for 118 yards on 21 carries... that gives him four 100-yard rushing games in his career... ran 13 times for 83 yards at SLU... caught eight passes for 73 yards against Nicholls.

2015: All-SLC 2nd team honors... No. 5 in the SLC with 891 rushing yards and 81.0 yards per game... No. 3 in SLC with 6.2 yards per carry... No. 7 in SLC with 9 rushing TDs... in SLC games only, ranked No. 3 with 800 yards and 6th with 8 rushing TDs...  rushed for 100 or more yards three times... career-high 149 yards on 15 carries with 2 TDs against Southeastern Louisiana... 126 yards (19) at Lamar regular season finale... scored 2 TDs against Northwestern State and had 153 all-purpose yards (95 rushing, 58 receiving)... scored a TD in five straight games at one point... starter in all 11 games.

2014: Splashed onto the scene in the fourth game of the season against Arkansas Tech when he was forced out of his planned redshirt season due to injuries... rushed for 66 yards on 17 carries and three touchdowns in that game... followed the next week with a 94-yard outing on 14 carries and a score against Nicholls... top rushing running back on the team with 599 yards on 106 carries and averaged 5.7 yards per rush... second overall in rushing only behind quarterback Daniel Sams... ran for 93 yards and a score at Northwestern State... played in nine games while starting the final three.

High School: Named league’s Most Outstanding Athlete as well as earning All-District and All-County honors at Brazoswood High School... as a senior, rushed for 903 yards on 131 carries and scored 11 touchdowns... averaged 6.9 yards per carry... carried the ball 130 times for 732 yards and 11 TDs as a junior to go along with 11 catches for 74 yards... sophomore year, rushed for 308 yards and two scores and made 12 catches for 189 yards and a touchdown.

Other:  Born Oct. 20, 1995... son of Randy and Yolanda Ross... younger brother, Lawayne, is a junior tight end on the Cowboys’ team this season.
