2011:  seventh on the team with 40 tackles... recorded three tackles for a loss and a sack and broke up six passes... career-high eight tackles, six of those solo, at Stephen F. Austin... tackle for a loss and a sack vs SE Louisiana....four tackles vs Sioux Falls....two tackles against Kansas.

2010: had 35 tackles, three tackles for a loss and a team high eight quarterback hurries...he also recovered two fumbles....top games came against SE Louisiana (five tackles) and Sam Houston State (five tackles)...a pass breakup with 48 seconds left preserved victory against SE Louisiana...honorable mention all-SLC.

2009: 33 tackles with two TFL, one sack, team high three pass interceptions..five PBU and one fumble recovery...six tackles vs Appalachian State...five vs Texas State..four vs New Hampshire...named national player of week (and SLC  player of week) with two pass interceptions against Tulane...started 11 games....pass interception came against Tulane which he returned 39 yards..team player of week vs Tulane.

High School: football, track and baseball standout at WO Stark HS...all-district and named to Super 22 team in football...97 tackles and pass interception in senior year...214 career tackles and four pass interceptions...centerfield in baseball.

Other: birthdate 5/20/90....General Studies....parents are Earl and Debbie Thomas...brother Earl Jr. played at Texas and was a first round draft pick by the NFL.Seth and Earl Jr were national players of the week the second week of football action in 2009.
