A transfer from Nebraska who is expected to play a big part in the secondary this season...play progressed throughout the spring and he was one of the top players in the spring game, making four tackles including one for a loss of 12 yards...runs 4.4 in the 40...340 in the bench press

Pre-McNeese: …played some nickel back for Nebraska last year after going through a redshirt year in 2007…

High School: during prep career at Brenham High, he played both defensive back and wide receiver and also saw some action as a running back…helped team to a 12-2 record as a senior when he was named to the all-district  and all-state teams….also some action at outside linebacker…made four interceptions as a senior and ranked among team’s top tacklers…seven tackles for a loss…had nine interceptions for career...also track letterman with best of 10.6 in the 100 meters
