2024 (Junior Season):
• Played in four games recording six tackles.
• Season-high three tackles at HCU (Oct. 5).

Before McNeese
2023 at East Los Angeles College:
• Played in 10 games and recorded 43 total tackles.
• Led the team with four pass interceptions.
• Broke up four passes and forced a fumble.
• Also recorded three tackles for a loss.
• Season-high nine tackles in a win over Allan Hancock (Sept. 9) in his first game.
• Picked off two passes in a win over Citrus (Oct. 28).

2022 at Delaware:
• Appeared in 11 games, with one start.
• Had three kick returns for 39 yards.
• Finished with 14 tackles, one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup.

High School: 
• 3-star recruit by 247sports.
• 23 offers out of high school including Cincinnati, Hawaii, Nevada, Colorado State, FAU, Marshall, Toledo, Coastal Carolina, Liberty and others.
• Played his first three seasons at Northeast High School before playing his senior season at Mater Dei in California.
• Earned First Team All-State honors as a junior and Second Team All-State recognition as a senior.
• Twice named Philadelphia All-Public School and was also named All-City as a junior.
• Helped lead Mater Dei to a No. 1 national ranking while leading the defense in tackles and interceptions.
• Helped lead Mater Dei to a No. 1 national ranking, a Trinity League Championship and undefeated season in the 2021 spring season.
• Two-time Public League Champions at Northeast.

Personal:
• Parents are Abdush-Shahiyd Brinkley and Hadiyah Dwyer... two daughters, A'leenah and Rumaisa Brinkley... has 12 siblings.
• Cousin, Curtis Brinkley, played football at Syracuse, ranking among the career leaders in several rushing categories, and played in the NFL for the Chargers and Bears.
