Megan Soileau, a former Cowgirl soccer student-athlete, is the Assistant Athletic Director of Student Athlete Services, having been promoted to the role in the spring of 2023. She returned to McNeese as the Director of Student-Athlete Services in June 2020.
She oversees the Student Athlete Services Team, including academics and APR, and works closely with football for their day-to-day academic needs while helping all sports with their academic eligibility needs.

A native of Cypress, Texas, Soileau returned to Lake Charles after spending three years in the coaching ranks at Southern Miss (2018-2020), four years at UL-Monroe (2018-2020), one season as an assistant coach and head reserve team coach at Converse College (2014-2015), and one season as a McNeese Operations Graduate Assistant.

While at McNeese, she played four years for the Cowgirls, earning Southland Conference Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll all four seasons. She was selected to the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in 2014, was president of the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Council) and FCA Leader, named to the President's List Honor Roll, and graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Kinesiology, sports management and education in 2013. She earned her master's degree in Exercise Physiology from McNeese in December 2014, graduating with a 4.0 GPA while receiving the Doré College of Graduate Students Award.

Soileau is certified with multiple USSF and United Soccer Coaches licenses and earned the distinction as a United Soccer Coaches 30 under 30 (2013-14).

Soileau and husband Logan have one son, Oliver. They also live with their dog JJ.
