Spent time at fullback and tailback in the spring but will head into season as the starter at fullback......very strong and a hard runner...rushed for 18 yards on four carries in spring game

2007: saw action in 11 games at fullback and rushed for 22 yards and 4.4 average and caught two passes for seven yards...had 12 yards on two carries in win over ULL

2006: rushed for 38 yards on 11 carries for a 7.6 average...longest run of 14 yards...netted all 38 yards against West Virginia Tech...also caught two passes for 32 yards...one reception for 34 yards vs Northwestern State

High School: standout at John Ehret High where he was all-state and all-district...all-state in track as sprinter (also tossed shot and discus), all-district in basketball....in senior season had 1,752 all-purpose yards, 654 rushing and 785 receiving...20.2 KO return average..18.4 average on punt returns....over 3,000 yards rushing in career as well as 5,000 all purpose yards...started four years as running back
