Earned his first letter last season and will go into year as the No. 2 player at left guard...may also see some action at right guard and can also play tackle...one of the stronger linemen in the offensive line...squats with 625 pounds....is No. 1 among all players on team with a 415 pound bench press...also tops in reps with the 225 pound bar bell (26 times)

2009: saw action throughout the season and earned first letter...credited with two pancake blocks

2008: had seven pancake blocks, all of them against Southern Virginia  

High School: played on both sides of the ball at Welsh High...all-state, all-district and all-parish...also named to all-staTe academic team...member of district football and track championship squads

Other: birthdate 12/29/87....honor roll student in Engineering Technology....parents are Rayford and Christine Fontenot...named Mr. Welsh High and to Who’s Who...named to SLC Commissioner’s honor list
