Biography

Billy Cotton joins the team this year after having sat out last season. He’s a very athletic player who can make plays, flashy and otherwise. He’ll make a contribution at both forward positions.


Pre-McNeese: standout player at DeRidder High where he earned all-state honors ... as a senior he averaged 22 points and 14 rebounds per game...and as a junior it was 19 points and 12 rebounds....in three of his four prep seasons, he averaged rebounds in double figures and he scored in double figures all four years....played in the Louisiana state all-star game in 2007...named to all-district team all four seasons...once scored 40 points in a game...played prep ball for Mike Green
