Jessica is in her first year as an assistant sports information director at McNeese. She transferred to her new office in June of 2017 after serving as the marketing intern for the Cowboys. She comes to McNeese from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX where she was a graduate assistant for marketing and game operations. It was there, that she brought HPU's social media rankings from #147 to #54 on D3SocialMedia's national ranking scale, in less than two years. While working for the Yellow Jackets, Jessica earned her masters degree in Sport and Wellness Leadership- focusing her senior research on the relationship between the structure of a “Tweet” and the number of resulting interactions for division I football Twitter accounts.
Before Howard Payne, Jessica spent her undergraduate career working for the ULM Warhawks, where she served as a student-worker, manning their on field promotions and assisting with game day operations for all sports. She graduated from UL-Monroe in December of 2014 with her B.S. in Fitness and Sport Industry.
Jessica is married to defensive intern, James Roberson- and the two have twin girls, Austin and Kendall born in April 2016.
