Joseph Anderson

A native of Houston, Anderson is a second-year graduate assistant for the Cowboys.

A McDonald's All-American nominee in high school, Anderson won a pair of state titles while at Texas powerhouse Jack Yates High School and competed in the Dick's High School National Championship in LaLumiere (Indiana).

The 6-foot-3 guard played two seasons at UAlbany after stops at Northern Arizona and Nevada. He recorded a pair of 30-point games while at NAU where he averaged more than 11 points per game as a sophomore. Forced to redshirt at Nevada due to NCAA transfer rules, but was a key practice player for the Wolfpacks' 2019 NCAA Tournament team.

He earned a double-major from UAlbany in 2021 in both communications and sociology.

He previously worked under Mike Boynton at Oklahoma State.
