“Returning Starter that will provide leadership to a young basketball team. He has improved in every phase of the game. He is an extension to me on the court. I really believe that he has put in the offseason work to have a good year.”
Senior Season (2011-2012): Scored 18 points against Nicholls in his last outing, the most of the season since sinking a career-high 21 points against Louisiana College in the season opener... snapped out of a 5-13 free throw slump by hitting all 6 against Nicholls... scored 15 points at NSU on 6 of 14 shooting... held without an assist for just the second time this season against NSU... dished out a career-high 7 assists against Texas-Tyler then matched it with 7 dishes at Texas Tech... scored 10 points at Southeast Missouri State... opened the season with a 21-point output to lead McNeese in a win over Louisiana College... tied a career-high with 8 FG made in the game (8 for 12) and also pulled down four rebounds with three assists... scored 8 points at LSU on 4 of 10 shooting.
Junior Season (2011-2012): earned All-Southland Conference Second Team honors and was named to the All-SLC Tournament team after he finished the 3-game slate with a 12.8 ppg clip... ranked second on the squad with 11.5 points a game... 4th in the SLC in free throw shooting (80 percent) and 2nd with 34.9 minutes played per game... scored in double-figures 18 times including a career-high 22 points against Stephen F. Austin... went three straight games at the end of the season where he scored 18 points each (at Lamar, vs. UTSA, vs. UTA, vs. Lamar)... pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds to go along with 9 points at Georgia State.
Sophomore Season (2010-2011): missed the first part of the season with an injury but went on to play in 25 games...averaged 3.8 points per game...scored game winning basket in victory over Nicholls State...came off bench to score 19 points in win over Univ. of Southwest...made 10 of 11 free throws...averaged 10.6 minutes of playing time....played in all 16 conference games...had 10 points against SW Assemblies (4 for 4 on Fgs).
Freshman Season (2009-2010): played in 28 games and produced a 4.0 scoring average...made 44 of 86 shots from the floor for a 51.2 percentage and was 19 of 22 from the three throw line for an 86.4 percent....played in all 16 conference games....came off the bench to lead the team in assists against Louisiana College....three times scored in double figures with career high 15 points against Paul Quinn and 10 points each against Louisiana College and Stephen F. Austin....made seven of eight shots in game against Paul Quinn.....was named the team’s “Newcomer of the Year.”
Pre-McNeese: was one of the state’s scoring leaders as a senior at Alexandria Senior High.... averaged 20 points a contest for ASH...also contributed five assists per game...helped lead the team to a 29-8 record and as far as the state quarterfinals in the playoffs...was a three year starter and his team made the playoffs all three seasons...first team all-district selection...single game high of 39 points which he scored in a contest against Opelousas High....also played baseball at ASH, playing centerfield.
