Elbryan Neal came in last year as a transfer out of Arkansas Baptist and used his versatility to average five points and 4.1 rebounds per game... he was the first man off the bench last year and will be vying for more playing time this season... he will miss the first few games, not being eligible until the season gets into the second semester.

Junior Season (2008-2009): Scored in double figures five times with a career high 11 points against both Southeastern Louisiana and UTA... one of the team's top rebounders towards the end of the season with 40 caroms in his last eight games... led team in scoring in two games and in rebounding in three games... played in 26 games and averaged 15 minutes per.

Pre-McNeese: He averaged 12 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots per game last year at Arkansas Baptist... played high school ball at John Marshall High... all-district and had single game highs of 16 rebounds and 20 points.
