2016-17 Season: Redshirt year. 

High School: Senior year, averaged 16 pts, 17 rebs, 2.5 blks and 2 steals per game... earned first team Class 1A All-State honors in Mississippi... 3-time all-county and all-district player in Bolivar County... one of the top rebounders in school history... a track standout and a 2-time Class 1A state champion in the hurdles (2015 and 2016).

Personal: Born September 5, 1997… majoring in biological science and will pursue dental school… late father Fred Haywood Sr. and mother Carla Johnson met while playing basketball at Mississippi Valley State… his sister, Frederica, is a junior on the Cowgirls' basketball team.
