Jamarcus Little got in some action last year but is being counted on for plenty more this season. he can give the Cowboys a strong presence under the boards, both offensively and defensively.

Sophomore Season (2008-2009): Played in 23 games for the Cowboys and scored 15 points and pulled 12 rebounds... season high four points against Southern Mississippi and also had season high of three rebounds in that game... averaged almost four minutes of playing time.

Pre-McNeese: Played a year of junior college ball at McLennan Community College where he averaged 16 points and nine rebounds per game... had single game highs of 26 points and 20 rebounds... produced an 11.5 scoring average his senior year as a center at Lufkin High... led team to district title... named newcomer of year and most improved player... team captain... also played receiver on the football team... only played two years of prep basketball.
