High School:  at Plano East Senior High School, a three-time all-district selection... 2-time team captain... team MVP his junior and senior seasons... team assist leader as a junior and senior and scoring leader as a junior... ranked second on the team in scoring as a senior... as a senior, led his team to a 30-6 record, district championship and a regional semifinals appearance in the state playoffs... team also garnered a national ranking... played summer ball for the Dallas Seawolves... 13 of his high school teammates have signed to play Division I basketball... played his freshman season at Grand Prairie before moving to Plano East for his sophomore year... graduated with a 3.4 grade point average.
