Biography
Rudy Turner transferred from UL Monroe and sat out the season. He will play as a senior this year. Rudy is a big presence underneath the goal and he can rebound and score with the best. Could become one of the better big men to play for the
Cowboys.
Pre-McNeese: played three season at Louisiana-Monroe where he was a starter all three years...as a junior last season he averaged 8.8 points and led the team with a 5.5 rebounding average...he also made 55 percent of his field goals and led the team with 43 blocked shots...in his sophomore season he average 10.2 points a game and had a 51.4 shooting percentage...led team in rebounding with a 6.8 mark..started 10 games as a freshman and had a 6.0 scoring and a 4.5 rebounding mark...
High School: played at Peabody High in Alexandria and earned two letters...played on state playoff team (semifinals)...averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds per game his senior season...also five blocks and two assists per game...earned all-state, all-district and all-Cenla honors..McDonald's All-American nominee
