• Walk-on who did not see any playing time.
 
High School:
• District MVP while at South Beauregard HS.
• 1st team All-District, All-Southwest Louisiana and All-Parish.
• Averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks per game.
• Selected for the West Team for the Louisiana HS All-Star game.
 
Personal:
• Born May 15, 2003.
• Son of Chris and Andrew Blackwell… two siblings.
• Nickname is “YZ”.
• His mother, Chris, played basketball for the Cowgirls and earned 1st team All-SLC honors in 1997 and was named the 1995 SLC and Louisiana Newcomer of the Year.
