 He's one of the top distance runners in the nation....could redshirt this season...a year ago he finished 50th in the NCAA national cross country championship race...during the recent outdoor track season he set a school record of 14:07.58 in the 5,000 meters.... he won the mile run at the Cowboy Relays...during the indoor season he w2on the 5000 meters and was second in the 3000 meters....at the 2010 cross country championship meet he placed fourth and went on to finish sixth at regionals and 50th at the national meet...helped his native Ireland to the SPAR European Cross Country Championship in 2010...named to the all-Louisiana cross country team for 2010 and was named runner of the year...holds the school record for the indoor mile run and 5,000 meter run and for the 5000 meter run outdoors...team MVP in cross country in 2009 and 2010....also all-Louisiana cross country in 2009...all-Ireland champion as a prep runner...Health Promotions major
