Alayis Seneca

After an outstanding four year career with the Cowgirls, Alayis Seneca joined the coaching staff in 2023 as an assistant coach.  A two-time All-Southland Conference performer, Seneca ended her career ranked in the Top 10 in nine McNeese statistical categories including games played, hits, runs, stolen bases and batting average.

Seneca's career included a career .323 batting average, 125 runs, 199 hits, 15 doubles, seven triples, 58 RBI, 41 walks, and 69 stolen bases.  

Not only was she impressive on the field, Seneca was equally impressive in the classroom where she was earned two graduate degrees and was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll five times and the Southland Conference All-Academic Team three times.
