• Led the team in batting average at .314
• Started all 59 games on the season
• Collected 11 doubles, eight home runs, and seven triples
• Stole 25 bases on 26 attempts
• Owned a slugging percentage of .519
• Tallied 75 hits, 54 runs, and 34 RBIs
• Earned 31 walks

2023 (Junior)
• Started all 57 games for the Cowboys
• Scored 51 runs off 65 hits
• Collected 25 extra-base hits: 11 doubles, 6 triples, 8 home runs
• Watched 23 walks fly by to get on base
• .978 fielding percentage, 85 putouts

2022 (Sophomore): Played in 15 games and made five starts... hit .238 with two home runs, two doubles, four RBIs and eight runs scored... had a 2 for 3 game against Northwestern State on May 8 with a home run, double, RBI and three runs scored.

2021 (Freshman): Appeared in 31 games, starting seven at LF (5) and DH (2)...hit .297 (11-37) with a triple, double, home run, five RBIs, and eight runs scored...swiped two bases...hit pinch hit home run in 10th inning against Central Arkansas (5/21) to secure spot in SLC tournament. 

High School: All-District in baseball... football All-State... district champion in track in the 100-meters... senior baseball season, hitting over .600 until COVID shut the season down.

Personal: Born September 30, 2001 in DeQuincy, Louisiana... parents are Brad and Laci Hext... father Brad attended McNeese... nickname is "Coop" or "Coopy-So"... favorite all-time player is Ken Griffey Jr... he's the first person in his family to play sports in college.
