Coming out of Westosha Central High School, Leslie played three years (including the shorterned 2020 season) at Mesa... hit .382 with 17 doubles, a triple, 36 RBIs, scored 43 runs, and had a .440 OBP in final year with Mesa which ended in 1st team all-region honors.
