Bridget Martin was named Deputy Athletic Director in January 2023. Martin, who has been at McNeese since 1990, was hired as co-head coach of the Cowgirl basketball program, and has been the department's Senior Woman Administrator and NCAA Compliance Administrator since 2001.
During an 11-year period she served as head basketball coach for seven seasons and four seasons as co-head coach.
Martin is the sport administrator for the Men and Women's Basketball, Softball, and Volleyball programs.
A native of Lake Arthur, Martin had served as the McNeese women’s basketball coach.
She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech and coached St. Louis High in Lake Charles, to a state title in 1988-89.
She currently serves on the NCAA Softball Rules Committee.
