Desirae Hansen

Desirae Hansen is in her first year as a member of the Cowgirl staff, serving as Director of Player Development and Scouting.

Hansen was a two-year (2022 and 2023) letterwinner for the Cowgirls, who played in 57 career games and averaged 9.5 ppg., 4.9 rpg., and 2.8 apg. in her two years at McNeese.  Hansen ended her Cowgirl career with a 37.8 three-point field goal percent as well as a 37.8 field goal percent. She was an All-Southland Conference selection in 2022.

Prior to coming to McNeese, Hansen spent three years at Portland State where she played under head coach Lynn Kennedy.  While at Portland State, Hansen was a two-time All-Big Sky selection (2020, 2021), Big Sky Co-Top Reserve (2018019) and two-time Academic All-Big Sky (2019, 2020). 

As a redshirt junior, Hansen became the 20th player in Portland State history to score 1,000 points and ranked 13th in the Big Sky in scoring.
