Kylie Jimenez, a former graduate assistant at Tarleton State, is in her second as a Cowgirl assistant.
The native of Thornton, Colorado, Jimenez was a standout at Portland State University where she played four years for head coach Lynn Kennedy. She concluded her collegiate career playing in a record 122 consecutive games.
Throughout her career, Jimenez earned Big Sky “Freshman of the Year”, was a two-time All-Big Sky selection as well as being named to the Academic All-Big Sky team.
During the 2018-19season, Jimenez earned All-Big Sky Tournament honors while helping lead her team to a Big Sky Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
In 2020 Jimenez became the 19
th member of the 1,000-point club at Portland State, and in 2021 she became the third member of the 1,000
point, 500 assist, 250 steal club in school history.
Jimenez finished her collegiate career as a graduate transfer at the University of Nevada-Reno where she helped lead her team to a 20-win season, while ranking in the Mountain West Top 10 in steals and assists, starting all 33 games. Jimenez led the Mountain West and ranked second in the country in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.19).
After her collegiate playing career Jimenez played one season professionally with Tus Lichterfelde in Berlin, Germany before returning to the United States to begin her coaching career. She was also a member of the “WBCA So You Want to Be a Coach” program in 2022.
Jimenez earned her undergraduate degree at Portland State with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Minor in Psychology.
