Megan Sload serves as the marketing assistant in the McNeese athletic department.
Sload comes to Lake Charles after spending the last year as an operations assistant at Queens University of Charlotte. She assisted with marketing and promotion for men’s and women’s basketball with a focus on game operations and graphics.
In addition, Sload served as an assistant coach for Queens where she helped with practice and games, game day organization, alumni relations, fundraising and marketing and promotion.
Before her time at Queens, she was an assistant coach for Guilford College women’s soccer program where she assisted with practice planning, goalkeeper training, travel planning and game day preparation.
Sload was a member of the Queens women’s soccer squad from 2009-2013 where she was named to the Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference team in 2011 and 2012. She was a three-time member of the CC Presidential Honor roll.
Sload graduated from Queens University of Charlotte in 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics and minor in Studio Art and is currently working on her Master of Arts in Communication.
