distance runner who had three top five finishes in the cross country season…she teamed up with Candice McCormick to take third place at the McNeese 2/3000m relay where she ran a 10:32 split..she then went to the La. Tech Mook Classic and took fourth place in the two mile race…the last came at the Cowboy Stampede where her time of 19:22 in the 5K race earned her a second place finish….Fionnuala also placed 40th at the SLC championship...missed the indoor season with injury....placed fifth in the 3000 meters at the 2009 Irish school national championships...majoring in HHP Exercise Science
