Head coach Drew Fitzgerald announced the newest addition to the McNeese soccer staff in Jade Dewbre as an assistant coach for the Cowgirls starting July 2024.
In her first season with the Pokes, she helped guide the team to a four-victory season. She helped the team pick up 18 goals and earning 17 assists as she helped in the team's efforts.

Dewbre joins the Pokes after most recently serving as an assistant coach at Seminole State College for two years. While there, she focused her efforts on working with the forwards and goalkeepers primarily, assisting the Trojans to a 38-5-1 record over those two years. The squad worked its way up to being ranked third in the 2022 campaign and second in 2023 in season.

She served as a head coach for the Texas A&M summer sessions in 2023 and 2024 as one of many coaches to assist in the large camps in both sessions. She helped oversee many of the participants as well by working in the dorms when not performing coaching duties.

Dewbre earned her Associates of General Studies at Angelina College where she played as a freshman and sophomore, appearing in 27 matches with 26 starts en route to score 23 goals with seven assists. She tallied three game-winning goals during her tenure as a Roadrunner. She earned NJCAA Women's First Team All-Region XIV recognition in 2019.

Dewbre furthered her collegiate career at Sam Houston where she earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Sociology with a minor in Kinesiology. She played in 32 matches, collecting nine starts, while scoring two goals and earning four assists.

She also spent time with the Dynamos Select Soccer Club and Dash Select Youth Soccer Club as both a youth coach and an assistant coach.

Dewbre is a native of Dallas, Texas before later moving to Houston where she attended Langham Creek High School as a four-year starter in soccer.
