Before McNeese: Suppan earned all-region honors by both the United Soccer Coaches and the National Junior College Athletic Association and was named to the NJCAA All-Academic first team. Suppan helped Eastern Florida State to a 13-3 record and a trip to the national semifinals. She started all 16 games and led a defensive unit that posted eight shutouts and allowed 0.99 goals per game this season. Suppan also scored a goal and dished out two assists. Before moving to the United States, Suppan played in the U17 Bundesliga, the highest youth level in Germany, for FC Bayern Munich and then in the Austrian 1st Bundesliga for FC Wacker Innsbruck.
