A native of Lake Charles and a current McNeese student, Ethan Anderson is in his 4th year as a SID assistant. He is the son of Kyle & Kelley Anderson, and was born on August 10th, 2000.
He attended Barbe High (class of '18) and was awarded the John McNeese Scholarship for his accomplishments in high school. In addition to excelling in the classroom, he also was a member of Beta, student council, and FCA. He was a four year varsity soccer goalkeeper.
At McNeese, he is a member of the honor roll list, Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity were he has held positions as treasurer and internal vice president. In addition to all that, he is a "Cowboy 4 Christ" on campus student ministry. He enjoys fishing and all things mixed martial arts when he is not handling his SID duties.
His grandfather, Jimmy Anderson, is a former president and interim executive director of the LHSAA. Ethan's twin brother Seth is currently an athletic trainer for McNeese football. In addition, his fiancée Lindsay Marceaux is also a student at McNeese, they are planning to wed in June of 2022.
His future aspirations are to become an AD at a D1 university or to work in the management of professional sports.
