Fall 2013: Competed in Rice Invitational and won her bracket at the no. 3 singles with a come from behind win over Northwestern State’s Natalya Krutova. After dropping the first set 6-3, Castellano bounced back to win the next two sets 6-2 and 6-3 for the victory... defeated Stephanie Nguyen of Rice 7-5, 6-1 and Kaysie Hermsdorf of Abilene Christian 7-5, 6-1the day before... Won her second tournament playing the no. 1 singles position at the UL-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns Women’s Tennis Classic, defeated Joanna Nalborska (7-6, 7-5) in the championship match. On Saturday, Castellano defeated Medy Blankvoort of UL-Monroe 7-2, 6-2 in the first round and Arkansas State’s Tamra Silijepcevic (7-5, 6-2) in the semifinals to advance to the finals... at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships advanced all the way to the round of 16 in the singles main draw after a come from behind win over South Alabama’s Monica Mitta (4-6, 6-4, 6-4). Castellano advanced to the round of 32 and defeated LSU’s Gabriel Otero (6-0, 6-3) before falling 6-4, 6-1 to Mai El, Kamash of Ole Miss
Before McNeese: Achieved a Top 50 ranking in the U-16 category of the Tennis Europe Junior Tour... won the mix doubles regional championship... finished with a 13-2 career record in doubles play and achieved three wins in singles action on the tour... Won a singles match and two doubles matches in the ITF Pro Circuit main draw of the ATP/WTA Tour.
