Mia Perales
Graduate Assistant: 1st Year
Mia Perales is in her first season as a graduate assistant on the coaching staff after spending the 2023 season as a Cowgirl setter. Perales was instrumental in helping the Cowgirls to a second place tie in the Southland Conference standings as well as reaching the semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament in her only season with the Cowgirls.
In 2022, Perales led McNeese in assists (772), tied for second with 23 service aces, and third with 278 digs while helping McNeese lead the nation in digs per set (18.53) as a graduate transfer.
Prior to her time at McNeese, Perales was a four-year letterwinner at UTSA where she was credited with 817 assists and 560 digs. Including her one year at McNeese, Perales ended her career with 1,589 career assists and 838 career digs.
