Joining the staff in the summer of 2019, Jess serves as the Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Basketball Team.
Jess received her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from Lamar University in May of 2019. In her first year as a Graduate Assistant, she worked with the football team as one of four Certified Athletic Trainers. In her second year, she worked with Football, and Men’s and Women’s Tennis.Â
She graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training after working with the volleyball, women’s tennis, football, and women’s soccer teams, as well as a local high school.Â
Jess is a NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer and a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Louisiana. She holds certifications in First Aid and CPR/AED for the professional rescuer, as well as Intravenous Therapy and Medication Administration.Â
She enjoys baking cupcakes and playing with her bunny Nugget in her free time, and is an avid reader of all genres.
