Cathy Devillier was named Assistant to the Director of Athletics in August, 2009 after serving as the Administrative Assistant in the Cowboy Basketball, Cowgirl Volleyball and Golf programs since 2006. Prior to her tenure in athletics, Devillier started working in the Accounting office at McNeese State on March 14, 2005. In her current responsibilities, Devillier is responsible for assisting the Director of Athletics in daily operations, including overseeing the administrative responsibilities of Baseball, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Cheer, Compliance, Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning, Ticket Office, and Sports Information. Devillier is also responsible for overseeing the department's administrative assistants, as well as assisting them in their various day to day operations when needed.Â
She is a native of Lake Charles, and is a 1980 graduate of LaGrange High School. She and her husband Mike, have two children, Josh and Shelby, and two granddaughters, Braylee and Preslee.
