LAKE CHARLES – Following one of its best performances of the year this week, the McNeese State women's tennis team will look for another impressive outing on Saturday when the Cowgirls travel to meet Air Force in a neutral site weekend match set to take place at 11 a.m. in Lafayette.
McNeese (3-4) has enjoyed back-to-back victories over in-state foes, taking down ULM in a 4-3 decision while dominating rival Louisiana-Lafayette on Monday.
In singles action, the Cowgirls are led by sophomore
Julia Kral who is 4-1 on the season and has won three straight matches while senior
Klaudia Gawlik has posted three-straight victories after dropping her first set this season.

Hannah Brett leads the team in wins with three this season while the combos of Gawlik and junior
Anastasija Trubich and
Vivien Borbely and
Sarah Jurakova have pulled off two straight wins in their respective matches.
Air Force (6-2) is a winner of five straight contests, most of which have come at neutral sites. The Falcons' only losses this season have been at Nebraska and against Colorado at a neutral site. Air Force has one shutout on the season.
