LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese State women's tennis team returns to Southland Conference action on Thursday as the Cowgirls welcome Abilene Christian to the Nancy Hank Tennis Center for a mid-week contest.
McNeese (9-5, 5-1 SLC) has been on a roll as of late with eight victories in its last 10 matches. The Cowgirls have scored three straight victories and are currently one match out of the top spot as they sit in third place.
Tuesday's contest will be just the fourth at home this season for McNeese who owns a 2-1 record at the Nancy Hank Tennis Center.
Julia Kral will lead the Cowgirls into the league match after gaining SLC Player of the Week honors for her undefeated performance in both singles and doubles action last week. Kral is now 10-2 in singles with victories in her last five attempts while she and partner
Hannah Brett lead the team with a 9-1 doubles mark.

Klaudia Gawlik is second on the team with eight singles wins while freshman
Sarah Jurakova has won three singles matches in a row.
Abilene Christian (7-2, 3-2 SLC) is coming off of a conference victory over Southeastern Louisiana this past Friday. The Wildcats have won three of their last five matches.
Kaysie Hermsdorff leads ACU with nine singles victories while Nada Marjanovic has scored eight straight wins over her opponents.
The combo of Hermsdorff and Brittney Reed leads the doubles division with an 11-1 mark.
The Cowgirls will then hit the road for matches at Stephen F. Austin on April 11 and at Northwestern State on April 12.
