was presented its 2015 Southland Conference championship rings.

The Cowboys finished the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record – the fifth unbeaten, untied regular season in school history. It was the program's 14th conference championship, a league record.

Director of Athletics Bruce Hemphill presented each player his ring as his name was called.

"This is what it's all about," said junior-to-be Kent Shelby after his face lit up with excitement when opening the ring box.

"I've waited four years for this," said outgoing senior and all-conference punter Jean Breaux.

It was the first league title for the Cowboys since 2009.
