LAKE CHARLES – McNeese maintained its position in the FCS top 25 polls this week, running its streak to 39 consecutive weeks listed in the polls.
 
The Cowboys climbed one spot to No. 23 in both the STATS and Hero Sports media polls while dropping two positions to No. 22 in the FCS Coaches Poll following their 42-35 win at Incarnate Word this past Saturday.
 
North Dakota State remains the top ranked team in all three polls followed by Sam Houston State at No. 2 in the polls.
 
McNeese and the Bearkats are the only two teams out of the Southland Conference to rank in the polls but Stephen F. Austin, Central Arkansas, Nicholls and Southeastern Louisiana are all receiving votes.
 
McNeese hosts Nicholls at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
