LAFAYETTE – McNeese track and field posted another solid outing on day two at the Louisiana Classics hosted by Louisiana-Lafayette where a total of 15 personal records were broken and another four were tied.

In addition to the individual bests, the Cowboys' 4x400-meter relay team made up of
Ethan Rapp,
Olandis Johnson,
Jaylen Goodly and
Jalon Charles posted its best time of the season with a mark of 3:16.58 for a third place finish and trimming down on its second-fastest time in the Southland Conference.

The men's 400-meter run saw five of the six Cowboy participants post personal records. Charles finished third overall in the event and first in his heat with a time PR time of 47.37. Johnson also placed first in his heat and seventh overall with a PR of 48.42 while
Blake Comeaux finished first in Heat 4 with a PR time of 48.46 to finish eighth overall.

Rapp (49.31) and
Khristian Anthony (51.08) also set PRs in the event.

Tyler Smith finished fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.74, a season-best for him while
Tyler Syrie placed eighth with a PR-tying time of 10.95.
Gared Brown, who finished 13
th, also set a PR with a time of 11.09.

In the discus event,
Darko Radakovic tied a PR with a sixth place throw of 153-07 and in the high jump,
Lentz Similien placed seventh with a mark of 6-6.75 to tie a PR and
Khalil Covington set a new PR at 6-2.75 to finish 10
th.

On the women's side,
Aleyah Donald ran a PR time of 12.13 in the 100-meter dash to finish first in her heat and sixth overall and
Diamond Lee tied her PR with a time of 12.57.

Mia Robinson set a new PR in the 400-meters with a time of 56.43, finishing first in her heat and ninth overall.
Â
Tijana Antic had a second place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 40-1.50 and set a new PR in the 100-meter hurdles with a seventh place finish time of 14.59.

MaKayla Hardin (42-6) and
Alanna Arvie (42-4.25) finish sixth and seventh respectively in the shot put, each posting new PR marks.

And
Heaven Terrell posted a new PR in the long jump at 18-00.5 to finish fifth in the event.
