LAKE CHALRES—McNeese women's basketball program has several events coming up in the next couple of months beginning with its annual Lyrics and Layups fundraiser on Thursday, April 11 in the Parra Ballroom located in the Student Union on the McNeese campus.
 
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $25 per person or $50 per couple. The yearly event will once again have live music, a silent auction, and table sponsorships.

The Cowgirl awards celebration is schedule for Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. in the Chuck Kleckley Alumni Room located on the second floor of the H&HP Complex. Cost for the event is $15 per person which also includes a meal. Individuals are asked to RSVP by April 12 by calling Tara Grindol at 337-475-5480.
 
Head coach Kacie Cryer's summer basketball camp dates are scheduled for May 30-June 1 (Team Camp) and June 17-19 (Individual Camp).
 
Prices for team camp vary on the number of days a team plans on attending. For one day of camp which includes three games, the cost is $180. Two days (5 games) is $300 and three days (8 games) the cost is $480.
 
The individual camp is open to any and all kids grades K-8. The fun-filled three-day camp will be held at the Ward 3 Power Centre from 9 a.m.-noon each day. The cost is $105 per kid.
