LAKE CHARLES – The threat of inclement weather on Saturday has forced the cancellation of the McNeese Last Chance Meet, officially bringing an end to the 2019 track regular season.
However, a few Cowboys and Cowgirls are expecting to get the call for the NCAA East Preliminaries but will not find out until later on Sunday when the remainder of the conference championship meets are completed.
This would've been the second straight year for McNeese to host a last chance meet which would allow athletes to attempt to qualify for the preliminary round one final time.
