LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese Track and Field program is looking for some sports minded people to help out as volunteers as officials for the three college meets McNeese will host – one indoor and two outdoor – this coming season.
 
Head coach Brendon Gilroy says all that will be required is to be organized, able read measurements and hold a clipboard.
 
Those signing up will receive an officials polo and cap.
 
The first meet will be on Jan. 31 with the running of the McNeese Indoor Meet at the Ralph Ward Recreation Complex on campus.
 
The first outdoor meet will take place on March 14 with the annual running of the Cowboy Relays "Bob Hayes Louisiana Challenge" and then again on April 4 with the McNeese Spring Time Classic. Both outdoor meets will be held at the Bill & Lena Henning Track and Field Complex.
