COLLEGE STATION, Texas – McNeese track and field will run at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster on Saturday in the final tune-up before the Southland Conference Championships.
 
The meet will be streamed live on the SEC Network Plus channel.
 
The Cowboys and Cowgirls will travel full squads for the meet that will get underway at 12:30 with the women's hammer event which will feature school record thrower and conference leader Alanna Arvie. Arvie will also compete in the shot put and discus while record holder Grace McKenzie is entered to 400-meter hurdles and will run the first leg of the 400 relays. McKenzie is ranked No. 1 in the league in the hurdles.
 
Also scheduled to compete for the Cowgirls who are ranked in the top five in the league rankings will be Blanche Beard (#3 in the javelin), and Jemira Thomlinson (#4 Hammer and discus).
 
On the Cowboys side, Hunter Longino (4^th in the javelin) will compete in the javelin event.
